For sale: A collector grade 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ Rubicon with only 9,923 actual miles! This Wrangler is completely stock with no modifications from how it was delivered from the factory. This Jeep is finished in the beautiful Flame Red (PR4) paint, 42RLE automatic 4-speed transmission, factory hardtop, and so much more listed further in the ad. This Jeep was kept in a climate controlled garage out of the sun and elements, this is the closest to buying a brand new TJ as a person can get. Finding an unmodified TJ Rubicon is becoming increasingly difficult. Finding one with fewer than 10,000 original miles is exceptionally rare. This Jeep has never been lifted, cut, or altered, making it an ideal addition to a serious collection or for someone looking to own one of the finest surviving TJ Rubicons.
This Jeep started life in Hugoton, Kansas and stayed there with the original owner until 2025, which means there is ZERO RUST! The older original owner who purchased this Wrangler from a dealer in Kansas on 3/29/2004 wanted a fun vehicle, but only one to be driven in town, this Rubicon stayed local to Hugoton for twenty-one years. He ordered it in early 2004 and accepted delivery shortly there-after. He would change the oil every year like clockwork, regardless of how many miles he put on the Jeep. All factory literature is included; owners manuals, tire warranty cards, shipping papers, etc. Also included are three keys, OEM hardtop removal tool (top and doors have never been removed), and all of that cool stuff that goes missing with higher mileage Wranglers.
The Wrangler has the sought after 4.0L Inline 6 motor which runs great and is healthy literally like new, with the automatic four speed transmission that shifts phenomenally and smoothly, all mechanical components are healthy. Over the course of the years, this vehicle has been maintained exceptionally well, and it shows, always garaged and just taken care of. There are absolutely no leaks of any kind. It has NO rust anywhere; it is exceptionally clean in this regard. It has no death wobble or wandering on the road and the road manners of the Jeep are just as they should be. It is a blank canvas ready to remain unmolested or to be built however the next owner wants to build it or maintain its present state and have a collector's item/museum piece.
The A/C is nice and cold with all settings working on the climate control, including the heat which is hot. Everything works on this Jeep, and it has no quirks about it, it legitimately needs nothing to be ready for whatever you are planning for it. No stains, tears/rips, NOTHING! The exterior is in exceptional condition; the paint is in amazing shape. The interior is like new, because it is... it still has the factory airbag warning tag still attached to the glove box door. The carpet had floor mats since day one, the carpet is brand new. Everything on this Rubicon is like new. Every major system functions exactly as it should. The engine starts instantly, idles smoothly, the transmission shifts flawlessly, the transfer case and lockers operate properly, the air conditioning blows cold, and there are no warning lights or fluid leaks.
